FOREWORD
This book is a
fascinating story of an unfortunate boy who lived in the
shadows and was completely throttled by sin. It is the
story of how the redeeming power of Christ can lift one
from the “shades of night” to spiritual victory. It is a
story of spiritual liberation told by the person who was
liberated.
Freddie Gage uses the
language of the young people with whom he lived until
the time of his new birth, and to whom he now ministers.
The language and some of the story may be criticized by
some, but this story of redemption is meant to bring
hope to the unfortunate and misguided, and had to be
told in their language to communicate. The author pulls
back the curtain and lets us look at a raw, hard way of
life that is as real as the mud puddle, the cloud or the
hurricane. The story is well-done and holds out great
hope for those in the grip of fleshly lust.
